Your Summer 2026

The cabin is such a lovely place, we'd definitely come back! It's located nicely on a slope, overlooking the Uvatn lake. And while there are other vacation homes nearby, we never perceived this as a lack of privacy, as there's enough room inbetween. The cabin is furnished and decorated with love, everything has been taken care of, everything you need is there. It took us no time to feel at home, probably also because Kristin and her family use the house regularly themselves. We were even greeted with Christmas decoration at our arrival :)

The house is simply wonderful. It feels like coming home. The fireplace provided cozy warmth, Tove gave us a warm welcome and explained everything we needed to know. The house is very tastefully and individually furnished to a high standard. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. You feel like a member of the family coming home for the holidays. The beach is very close by. All in all, we can highly recommend Tove as a host. The separate apartment also gives a mixed group (in our case, our daughter and her boyfriend) space to retreat. We felt very, very comfortable.

We really enjoyed the lovingly furnished accommodation and Öland in general during the holidays. The cottage is in a great location and was even decorated especially for us for Christmas. There were two of us with two dogs, and we explored several nature reserves on Öland. We would love to come back again in the summer.

Ål Hytta is beautifully situated on a hillside overlooking Reineskarvet and the plateau below. The designer hytta is wonderfully and functionally designed and has been furnished with great individuality and care by the owner, Annette. From Torpo, located in the Hallingdal valley, it is about 6 km on a private mountain road to the holiday home complex.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, the snow, the cold, and the beautiful winter atmosphere. The house is furnished with such love and is so well equipped that we felt at home from the moment we arrived. This place will always hold fond memories for us, and we can well imagine coming back—maybe even in the summer.

Fantastic vacation home! Plenty of space in all rooms. The wood-burning stove, sauna, and outdoor jacuzzi are fantastic extras :) We used both the wood-burning stove and sauna, but had to do without the jacuzzi because it was winter and there was lots of snow. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and only a short walk from the North Sea and the town. There was firewood in the room in the annex, but we needed a shovel for the snow when we arrived...we bought one at the supermarket, so now we have one :)

Perfect family getaway—spotless home, wonderful host, unbeatable location We had an excellent stay here as a family. The house was sparkling clean and very well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The layout is practical and cozy, and there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax. The large garden was a real highlight—perfect for kids to run around and for adults to unwind with a coffee in the sun. The host was exceptional: warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. Check‑in was smooth, communication was quick and helpful, and we always felt well taken care of. It’s rare to find this combination of friendliness and professionalism, and it made a big difference to our stay. The location is fantastic—close to everything we wanted to see and do, yet peaceful and quiet in the evenings. Whether you’re exploring the area or just enjoying time at the house, it’s an ideal base.
