A beautiful, spacious house with friendly and helpful owners who speak English well. The house is spacious, with two lovely large bedrooms located on opposite sides of the house, so privacy is easily maintained. Everything is still new. If you have small children, be sure to ask about cribs. There’s plenty of space, but as far as I could tell, there aren’t any beds for younger children. The surroundings are green, with plenty of opportunities for walks with the dog—a great spot for nature lovers. Covered parking was ideal. A bakery and supermarket are a 15-minute drive away. You can charge electric cars in the village 15 minutes away (there’s a fast charger at McDonald’s in Mamers).

The cabin lived up to our expectations both inside and out. Well-maintained and well-appointed. A great place to be, secluded even though there are many other cabins in the area. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. This is a place we’d love to come back to next summer.

A very lovingly decorated, wildly romantic, inspiring, and charming little cottage. We felt right at home. It’s surrounded by nature—a wonderful place to find peace and reconnect with yourself and the outdoors. Sahar was very friendly and always easy to reach. Thank you for the wonderful time!

We had a wonderful stay as a family of four with kids aged 4 and 8. The house is beautiful and cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The area is stunning, with wonderful views and the lovely, intimate Vestre Stabbestad beach close by. We explored some of the small islands by ferry, visited the charming town of Kragerø, and loved ending our days with beautiful sunsets from the wooden terrace. A perfect place for a family or couples holiday.

For people who love nature, peace and quiet, and want to escape the hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful vacation home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there with our family (including the hot tub and sauna). Sissel and Brendan were also very helpful when we had questions. A unique and relaxing experience. At first, it takes a little while to figure out how everything works since the cottage is off-grid, but once you get the hang of it, everything runs smoothly.
