A fantastic cabin with a beautiful view of Gålåvatnet! Luxurious yet very cozy and comfortable. Nice outdoor areas/terrace, partly covered. Aesthetic and well-thought-out interior, two bathrooms, and very comfortable beds. Well-equipped kitchen. Laundry room where we could dry our wet clothes. Only a few minutes' drive to the Peer Gynt play and to a Joker store with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic weekend at an incredible cabin. The surroundings were very beautiful and we were lucky enough to see wildlife on several different occasions. John was the perfect host, with quick response and always a very good and pleasant tone. Highly recommended ☺️

We absolutely enjoyed the views, the nature and being together in this complete oase on the mountain / near the water. We caught a lot of fish in the fjord and a heard the eagles screaming from the garden. We enjoyed the mountain hikes (closeby and some more around Andalsnes). All together the house had all we as a family wished for.

The house is beautifully located right on the water. It has a huge terrace that invites you to eat outside, sunbathe after a dip in the water, or simply enjoy the natural surroundings. The sunset is super romantic! The house is very comfortably furnished, and we immediately felt at home. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking.

This place is so nice. We had a very nice stay in this very nice house. We wanted to be away from the crowd, and we managed. In normal conditions (no snow and freezing) Duved is I think 15 mins drive. It took us a bit longer, but close enough to visit the well stocked ICA and go skiing. Back in our stay we had good showers and prepared nice meals. Had diners with 5 (adults, 21,23,25, and us). Thanks for sharing this experience with us and your swift replies to our questions.

We had a wonderful time at this very special vacation home. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. The house is incredibly cozy and furnished with great attention to detail—it really has everything you need, and then some. It’s the many little details, combined with the character of a genuine mountain cabin and modern comforts, that make it such a special place. We were thrilled by the location in the heart of the Swedish mountains. We spent our days on beautiful hikes and looked forward to cozy evenings back at the house afterward. We’ll especially remember the peace and quiet, the vast open spaces, and, of course, the wonderful sunsets over the mountains. It’s a place where you can truly unwind, enjoy nature, and simply feel at ease. We’d come back anytime.

The Trollhaugen house is idyllically located directly on the fjord and allows for an undisturbed stay. The house is very comfortably furnished and has a lot of historical charm and authenticity. It is equipped with everything you need and met all our expectations. Access to the house from the parking lot via the "nature trail" is somewhat difficult and not suitable for people with limited mobility. The surrounding area with fjords, sea, and mountains is very diverse and offers many opportunities for excursions. All in all, the perfect base for a real Norwegian vacation.
