Here you can lie back and enjoy the birdsong or the sound of the insects buzzing around the insect hotels. There's also an exciting tree house in the garden. Here, children can climb the ladder, hide in the treetops and play adventurous games. On the other side of the house, you'll find another terrace. Here you can grill and enjoy your evening meal in complete privacy.
You can easily take a walk to the water. Close to the house is the beach on the Isefjord, where it is safe for children to swim in the calm water. It's lovely here at any time of year. Go for a swim in the summer or take a walk along the water in the winter. Return to the house with cold, red noses for a hot cup of cocoa in front of the stove. In autumn, the Nordskoven forest with its old oak trees is breathtaking in its golden colors and at this time of year you can pick mushrooms and gather berries. There is also a mushroom drying machine in the house. My name is Ane and I own this lovely, spacious cottage. My family has enjoyed summer and outdoor life in Kulhuse for over 20 years. Several years ago, my mother bought a small cottage on the plot, but when she became a grandmother, there was no longer room for all of us. So we decided to demolish the house. We designed and built the new house ourselves in 2011 to give us space and room for all the generations to be here together.
We love to light the stove first thing when we arrive. Not necessarily because it's cold, but because it means coziness and relaxation to us. Lounging on the sofa, chatting and enjoying the space is something we love. We also love the garden and its many possibilities. We find it hard to sit still and we make beds, insect hotels, build tree houses and fix vegetable gardens.

It was a couple of really nice winter days in the house, with the most beautiful high-ceilinged living room, beautiful windows with views of greenery all around. Very tasteful cottage with white curtains, as if they were sewn from old tablecloths with embroidery. We very much enjoyed lighting the wood stove in the morning and evening. Super cozy.
