On Fanø, in the middle of a rolling dune landscape, you'll find a cozy, red wooden summer house. The house is located in an open area where you can really enjoy the light all day on the terraces around the house. The lovely conservatory is furnished with soft wicker furniture where you can enjoy the warmth or curl up with a good book.
In the house, there is room for a family of four. There is plenty of sleeping space with two bunk beds and a bedroom with two single beds that can be joined to make a double bed. You can enjoy dinner under the parasol on the terrace or play a game of kings with the kids in the garden. The wooden furniture creates a warm, homely atmosphere and the cozy sofa corner in the living room is a great place to play board games on long summer evenings. If you visit in the winter, there's a lovely wood-burning stove that will ensure that both warmth and coziness will spread throughout the house.
In the area, there are plenty of opportunities for walking or cycling, both on the safe cottage roads or in the small plantation if you want to experience the wild nature. Not much more than a stone's throw away is the wide Fanø Beach. It's a great place to swim, and the beach is also known worldwide for being a fantastic place to fly kites, and every June you can experience the world's largest kite flying event.
You'll find your way to the house via Flisestien, past Kellers Badehotel, which is almost next door to the house. Here you can easily stop by for a delicious meal. If you need a little exercise and competition, the cottage is just a stone's throw from Fanø Golf Club, where you can also rent a tennis court and play mini golf. It's also not far to Fanø Bryghus, where you can taste different beers. If you take a trip to Sønderho, we recommend visiting café De Tre Søstre, where you can enjoy coffee and ice cream. In Sønderho you can also visit Fanø Art Museum and Sønderho Kro. In Nordby, there are great shopping opportunities such as the SALT store, which has its own coffee bar.
Please note that the holiday home is only rented out for seven days at a time in weeks 26-35 and in week 42, from Friday to Friday.

Located in the middle of the rolling dunes close to the beach.
Short distance to beautiful, wild nature experiences.
Homey decor that lets you find peace and closeness.
My name is Vibeke and I'm happy to welcome you to our family holiday home that I have with my two brothers.
Our parents fell in love with Fanø in the early 90s and started dreaming of a holiday home there. In 1994 they bought this gem.
When we started coming to Fanø, we were young in our 20s. Since then we've brought our partners and children, and they love the island as much as we do.
We love spending time in the garden room, where we can enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding dunes and keep an eye out for the wild rabbits and pheasants that often drop by. There are good chairs for reading and you'll feel the silence that Fanø offers.
The house is very close to the wide Fanø Bad beach, where you can swim and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets.
There are many opportunities for walking and cycling in the area and nearby is a small plantation and Fanø golf course. At the golf course you can also play mini golf, tennis and paddle.
When you walk north, past the golf course, there is a large bunker area where it is fun to explore for both young and old. There's also a great view of the northern part of the island.
We enjoy walking and cycling in nature, shopping for Fanø's delicious produce, which can be bought anywhere on the island.
About halfway towards Sønderho, there is a large plantation and forest playground that is definitely worth a visit. There are marked walking routes and a mountain bike trail.
If you like to eat out, it's easy to visit Kellers Badehotel, which we have as a neighbor, where there is a very delicious menu.
We have many trips to Nordby, where you'll also pass Fanø Bryghus, which is well worth a visit. You can also get something to eat at a food truck.
In Nordby you can shop in lovely clothing and interior shops and visit Fanø Museum and Fanø Skibsfarts- & Dragtsamling.
There are good places to eat such as. Fanø Krogaard, Haven and Engel&Hein.
During the high season there is Late Night every Wednesday, where there is music, food and dancing in the streets and the Fanø costumes are worn by the dancers.
We also always visit Sønderho, where there are many beautiful houses, not least Sønderho Kro, which serves delicious seasonal food and local produce. A quicker and cheaper alternative with children is café De 3 søstre or Nannas stue.
In the town you'll also find small shops and the Fanø Art Museum.
In Rindby you'll find Lighthouse Burgers, they are very delicious!
We recommend bringing or renting bikes as the island is best experienced by bike.

A little gem in the dunes. Everything was there and it was very tastefully decorated. The bedrooms are very small as described. But large living room and veranda and we 3 adults felt very comfortable. It is quiet and golden pheasants look over at dinner and rabbits have a burrow at the house and can be admired. The beach is within walking distance and we went swimming every day. I would love to come back!
