My name is Lise and together with my sister we run Engestofte Estate, which is located in the middle of beautiful nature. We love the place and we really want to bring life to the countryside and revitalize the beautiful old houses on the estate. A fun fact about this house is that it was used as a location for the program 'Home to the Farm'. We restored it ourselves with respect for the surroundings and the original details, and we made a point of selecting furniture from both our childhood homes and furniture with history and charm.
The area has plenty to offer. For example, both Knuthenborg Safari Park and Lalandia in Rødby are great destinations for families with children. If the adults are looking for a good tasting experience, stop by Krinkerup Brewery, where they have tastings and good arrangements. In general, Lolland has many manor houses, castles and fine farm shops with local produce that you can visit. If you love nature, you can canoe on the lake and fish all year round.
