Glamping wagon with panoramic window by the lake

The trailer is an old carnival trailer from Dalgaards Tivoli that now stands by the lake as a glamping trailer with its own unique character and history. A large panoramic window has been cut into the gable, bringing the view of the lake right into the trailer, and guests stay without Wi-Fi, television, or radio.

The walls are clad with reclaimed wooden scaffolding, which lends warmth and a rustic feel. The original red 1980s kitchen has been preserved and sets the tone for the rest of the interior, where shades of red recur throughout. Many of the wagon’s original elements have been preserved and incorporated into the overall design.

The glamping area has direct access to the forest and trails along the stream, and from here you can walk down toward Aabenraa Fjord. On the grounds, you’ll find a lookout point where you can enjoy the scenery and the tranquility. “Svanen,” a small boat on the lake, is one of the things many guests remember most fondly from their stay.

From Thursday through Sunday, Krusmølle features a café, a shop, and creative workshops, and on Fridays, guests gather for a barbecue evening. The forest, the trails, and the fjord are the natural focal points of your stay, whether you’re into morning swims, hikes, or simply sitting quietly somewhere.
