My name is Erik, I work as a cinematographer and live in Aarhus with my girlfriend Ingrid, who is a designer. Together we have three grown-up children. We are passionate about culture, design and the environment and love our beautiful gem of a holiday home, which has always been a haven for us in our busy lives. The house has been in the family since 1965 and has been the setting for many wonderful experiences over the years. Here, the calm atmosphere gives us space for peace and contemplation.
When we are here, we enjoy the view, the peace and the high sky, go for walks in the protected area or go to Viborg and enjoy the old town and the historic buildings.
A short walk from the house is the small village of Hjarbæk with old houses and a marina, which was once a thriving small port town with a customs station. Today, the former customs station is home to the cozy Hjarbæk Inn, which is always worth a visit.
