My name is Rebecca and I am married with two children. We own the cabin together with my two brothers, my sister and my mother. We have been involved in building much of the cabin ourselves, which makes it extra special for us. When we built the cabin, we also had to build a 1 km road into the forest, which was almost as big a project as building the cabin itself. We had to cut timber, blast away rock and lay electricity as a private grid. We own a large area of forest in Agder and wanted to show others how beautiful, quiet and peaceful this part of the forest is.
The cabin and the surrounding area mean a lot to us, especially because it's an area that has belonged to our family for several generations. It was therefore no coincidence that the choice landed on a treetop cabin in the forest here when the decision to build a cabin was made. We've put so many hours into this cabin that it means a great deal to us, which is why we're delighted to be able to share our sanctuary with others who appreciate both design and unique nature experiences.
