Step into a time capsule and experience true 70s charm in this authentic cottage. Overlooking the beautiful dune landscape and forest, this is the place to relax and enjoy each other's company.
The décor is original and the fine living room is the heart of the house, complete with a newer fireplace for the cooler months. The kitchen and dining nook have been the center of many cozy gatherings and have been upgraded with modern amenities such as a dishwasher, stove and refrigerator.
The house is located on a large natural plot surrounded by dune plantation. The private garden is a great place to relax while enjoying the fresh air and scenic landscape.
The area offers many activities. Take a hike at Vestre Opsyn, explore Bunken dune plantation, cycle on the Hulsig trail or go for a run to the Tudse Sea and Råbjerg Mile. The nearby beach is great for SUP, sea swimming and running along the coast.

I'm part of a family of five, and together we've had the Kaskelotten summer house for three generations. For 50 years, our family has used the place as a vacation paradise. We've taken long walks with children and towels in the wheelbarrow to the fantastic and secluded sandy beach with dunes and mare straw. The beach is child-friendly and there are plenty of opportunities for SUP, sea swimming and beautiful runs along the beach and pine forest.
We have enjoyed the many walks in the landscape around Kaskelotten, where we have found chanterelles. Bike rides to the North Sea, The Sanded Church and Råbjerg Mile have all been through an unspoiled moorland landscape. In the summer, when we want to leave the silence, Skagen offers numerous cultural opportunities and a wonderful holiday atmosphere. And in the winter, we've been lucky enough to go cross-country skiing in Skagens Klitplante and then return home to the warm fireplace. This is a vacation home that our family has enjoyed all year round for generations.
