Enjoy your break from everyday life in this thatched cottage, cozily located on Søstien with a view of the town's street pond. A home with both history and modern comfort, perfect for those who appreciate the quiet village idyll with proximity to natural beauty and the sea.
Indoors, you are greeted by large, bright spaces, completely modernized with respect for history. The travertine tile floors and mullioned windows emphasize the rural charm, and there is plenty of light from every room. The spacious living room and inviting kitchen are the perfect setting for a cozy get-together with family or friends.
Outside, a 1200 square meter garden spreads out with wild flower beds, herbs and green lawns. Enjoy a quiet moment in the 'wild at will' section or fire up the hot tub - a pleasure for body and soul all year round.
The area offers adventures big and small; take a walk around the street pond, visit Estruplund manor or relax at Paradiset beach. On Tuesdays in July, there's a large flea market in the village, and for the adventurous, Djurs Sommerland is a welcome excursion.

We are Henriette and Stig, and we fell in love with our cottage because it is charming and has a great location right next to the village pond.
When we bought the cottage in 2008, we didn't know that every year, right outside our cottage, there's a big flea market.
Now it has become a nice recurring family tradition that we visit the market, where there is music, fun, stalls, food and much more. The town guild in St. Sjørup organizes the "Summer Village", and every Tuesday in July, the square around the lake is transformed into a large marketplace. It's a great experience not to be missed.
Our family enjoys the nature around Estruplund and the beach at Paradiset, and we've been sitting in our garden eating lots of strawberry cakes... and just enjoyed life.
We keep our cottage neat and clean, so it's ready to welcome our new vacationers.
