Generational cabin from 1946 in Lyngør

Our vacation home is the result of generations of simplicity, quality, and practical solutions. Here, you can relax and focus on what is right in front of you. It could be the sunset, the sea, the inevitable question of what to have for dinner, or simply which book to read. You will appreciate the tranquility of the house and the property.

The cottage has a well-thought-out interior, where your grandparents' furniture meets modern comfort. Your grandfather's original fireplace is still there and is the best place to cozy up when the weather is bad. The room is large enough for you to be alone without disturbing others.

The property is a natural plot without a garden, just as nature intended. You can walk straight out into nature and the mesmerising ocean view in the morning, eat your meals outside, and watch the lingonberries and blackberries ripen. Sometimes you will find chanterelles.

If you want to be active, there are many options: boating, windsurfing, kayaking, SUP, fishing, hiking, and berry picking. Take the boat to the local shop to buy your daily ice cream, or visit Flatskjæra further out in the archipelago. On Sandøya, 20 minutes by boat, we recommend Brød og Vind.

You must have a boat to stay in this cabin, and you must be familiar with sailing and mooring in different weather conditions.

We can probably offer boat rental, but we will know more about this later.

This is a natural area with uneven terrain. If you have difficulty walking or are mobility impaired, we recommend that you consider another location.
