Welcome to our old cottage. For us, the special thing about this house is the story. It begins in the late 1940s when the family, who owned a furniture factory in Randers, bought the land in exchange for a sofa and a dining table. Since then, each generation has added its own special touch to the cottage over the years, expanding and modernizing it. "We're the third generation in the house, and we've renovated the kitchen and bathroom, and 10 years ago we added the annex. The small children who play in the house today are the fifth generation. It gives soul and history to the house.
The cottage is located on a closed road 2-3 minutes walking distance from the sea, where we have regular walks along the beach and enjoy buying ice cream and fish in the old fish houses.
We also enjoy the bike rides along the sea to the protected areas and to Bønnerup for fish. We go mushroom hiking in the large forest areas nearby. The impressive cliffs from the Ice Age at Gjerrild Strand and the old manor houses Sostrup, Mejlgaard and Løvenholm are also always worth a visit.
