This cozy vacation apartment is located on the edge of the East Frisian village of Friedeburg, in the middle of the forest and right on the lakeshore. One of six apartments, it is part of a former forester's lodge. built in 1872, it was lovingly renovated and restored in 2020/2021 and transformed into a unique vacation home.

If you are a guest in this apartment on the first floor of the house, you share the entrance and hallway with other parties. Behind the entrance to your apartment, you will have it all to yourself and can enjoy the special atmosphere of the one-bedroom apartment.

You will find everything you need to make yourself really comfortable in the modern 33 m² space with a view of the greenery. From the large box-spring bed and living area to the fitted kitchen with dining table and spacious bathroom with rain shower, great importance has been attached to elegant, high-quality furnishings. Embedded in a maritime-style color scheme of soft grey and blue tones and lobster-colored accents, the vacation feeling is not long in coming.

The apartment has its own terrace with a seating area and two sun loungers. After sunbathing, you can jump straight into the private lake belonging to the house. A hike through the adjacent Karl-Georgs-Forst of the von Wedel family, who also own the forester's lodge, or a trip to the North Sea are also wonderful options.

As a trained chef and business economist for the hotel and catering industry, our guests are particularly close to my heart. After working in many places at home and abroad for over ten years, I was drawn back home. I missed the North German mentality, the "Schnack", the food and the family. With the former forester's lodge and its six apartments, I have come very close to my dream of having my own small hotel, as I was involved in the development process and helped to build it. I particularly love the history that lives in the house, the forest and the lake on the doorstep and the serenity that this place exudes.
