Large family cabin with panoramic views

This architect-designed cabin, located at approximately 1,020 metres above sea level, has six bedrooms and panoramic views of Hardangervidda, Ustetind, and Ustevann. The bedrooms sit at opposite ends of the cabin, and the two living rooms let you split up—one group can relax in peace and quiet, while others watch TV or play games.

The cabin's approximately 150 m² and has three bedrooms on the ground floor, two in the loft of the new section of the cabin, and one in the loft room. There are two bathrooms with showers and toilets, one of which has an attached sauna. The kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher, is integrated into the dining room, and both living rooms have fireplaces. Underfloor heating keeps the cabin comfortable year-round.

The outdoor area features several large terraces with benches, chairs and a fire pit. The sun hits the terrace early from the east, so you can enjoy your morning coffee outside when the weather permits. There's a road leading all the way to the cabin, parking for three cars and snow ploughing in winter. The storage shed has an electric car charger and space for ski gear. The area offers hiking trails for both summer and winter. Ustetind (1,376 m above sea level) and the Tuva tourist cabin are nearby. Prestholtseter has a café open during the high season and a “sherpa staircase” with 2,500 stone steps. Geilo's about 15 km away, with alpine slopes and shops. The bike route along Rallarvegen starts at Haugastøl, 10 km away.
