We are a family of five: Mette, Mads and our three children. We love spending time in our summer house, where there's room for immersion with puzzles, board games, walks, swimming and books - or just time to do nothing. In the summer, we like to play kings or football in the garden (there are two football goals), jump on the trampoline, take a nap in the hammock or play basketball on the basket at the end of the house. We also always head up to the end of the road to say hello to the horses Thor and Baloo, who are always ready for a carrot or two. There are bicycles in the cottage and we love cycling in the area.
From the cottage it's only 200 meters to a child-friendly beach, which we use extensively. There are plenty of great hiking and cycling routes in the area and a rich bird life, so binoculars are a good idea! Both Randers Rainforest and Mols Bjerge are within easy reach and the small ferry across to Udbyhøj is also worth a trip. And the ice cream parlor at Fjellerup Strand is always a sure hit.
