Outdoor pursuits near Kattegat and fjord

Welcome to this lovely holiday home with plenty of space for young and old alike. Here you can swim at the child-friendly beach facing Treå Møllebugt, stroll along the wild beach meadows and, in a short drive, reach the beautiful landscapes with birdlife and fishing at Randers Fjord.

Personal flea market finds, lovely colors and fine old furniture create a pleasant atmosphere in the cottage. There are board games and puzzles for an indoor day where you can light the wood-burning stove and serve cocoa with whipped cream. Find a warm blanket and a good book and curl up on the daybed, which is also the perfect place for a nap while the family voices hum in the background.

When the sun warms up, you can stroll to the beach in five to ten minutes or hop on your bike and explore the area. Perhaps in search of the biggest ice cream or with a visit to the charming old wooden ferry that takes you across the mouth of the fjord to Udbyhøj. When you gather in the cottage in the afternoon, it's time to fire up the grill and arrange the season's delights on one of the beautiful dishes from the plate rack. Place a field flower on the table on the terrace and enjoy the warm summer evening in each other's company.

After the last game of the day and a bounce on the trampoline, the kids can crawl into bed - literally - in the cozy bunk cave, where they can tell ghost stories and whispers late into the night, while you relax at dusk with a glass of wine on the terrace.
