Dreaming of a charming mountain retreat? This lovely cabin in Aurdalsåsen could be the perfect destination for you. The cabin is located at 890 meters above sea level, with great views on an unspoiled large plot with panoramic views over the valley and towards Skogshorn.
The cabin has a large kitchen and living room, ideal for family or friend dinners. There are also two comfortable sofa areas where you can relax after a long day in nature. The cabin has six bedrooms, two bathrooms and plenty of storage space to make you feel at home.
The cabin is secluded in Kvitingvegen, just before Danebu kongsgård and Fjellparken. Cross-country ski trails are run up right by the cabin, which cover large areas both on flat terrain and up high mountains with great views (e.g. Smørlifjell and Bjørgovarden). It's also great for small children, with small shelters etc. to visit. Otherwise, it's about a 5-minute drive to Valdres Alpinsenter.
Great hiking opportunities in summer, fall and winter. The mountain lakes Damtjern and Kvitingen are a short walk from the cabin. There is plenty of parking space on the property and an electric car charger. There are a lot of blueberries and cranberries on the property in late summer/autumn, and good opportunities for tobogganing etc. in winter. It's a short drive to Leira and Fagernes, both of which have a good selection of shops and activities. Great new Frisbee golf course at Leira, and nice beach at Fagernes. It takes about 55 minutes to drive to Beitostølen if you want to experience something different one day.
