Great for small children too, with small shelters etc. you can visit. Otherwise, it is about a 5 min drive to Valdres Alpinsenter.
Great hiking opportunities in summer, fall and winter. The mountain lakes Damtjern and Kvitingen are a short walk from the cabin. There is plenty of parking space and an electric car charger. There are lots of blueberries and cranberries on the site in late summer/autumn, and good opportunities for tobogganing etc. in winter. It's a short drive to Leira and Fagernes, both of which have a good selection of shops and activities. Great new Frisbee golf course at Leira, and a nice beach at Fagernes. It takes about 55 minutes to drive to Beitostølen if you want to experience something different one day.
