Bright summer house by Balka Beach on Bornholm

You’ll find a bright haven just a few steps from Balka Beach, where Nordic simplicity and open spaces create the perfect sense of calm. Large windows bring the outdoors into the home, while the high ceilings and light wood planks create an airy atmosphere. Here, the pace of everyday life is allowed to slow down naturally.

The kitchen, dining area, and living room flow together into an open living space where you can spend time together in your own ways. The open kitchen invites you to cook together, while the living room, with its soft sofa and muted natural colors, offers space for both reading and socializing. The wood-burning stove ensures warmth year-round.

Sliding doors open from the living room onto a spacious wooden deck, which extends the house during the summer months. Here you can enjoy breakfast in the first rays of the sun, relax in the lounge chairs in the afternoon, or gather around the dinner table in the evening, with the green garden surrounding you providing the perfect setting.

Balka Beach is just a few minutes’ walk away—a child-friendly beach with lifeguards during the summer months and plenty of space for swimming, playing, and water sports. The rest of Bornholm awaits just outside.
