Forest cabin at Brånen with fireplace & fire pit

You’ll find a cabin in the woods where the fireplace provides warmth, and nature awaits right outside the door. Here, you can slow down, gather the family around the fire, and let the children explore freely in a large wooded area. The barbecue area and outdoor kitchen make it easy to cook outdoors.

The interior combines traditional Norwegian style with a modern touch. Natural materials, warm lighting, and unique details create an atmosphere where the fireplace brings you together for long, cozy evenings. There’s plenty of space here to relax and just be. There is a composting toilet and an outhouse, and the simple kitchen helps make the cabin a wonderful, authentic cabin experience.

Outside, a large wooded area awaits with a campfire site and barbecue area. You can start the day with morning coffee in the fresh air, spend the afternoon hiking in the woods, and end the evening around the campfire under the stars.

The cabin is located in Brånen in Indre Østfold, about ten kilometers from idyllic Son with its cozy cafes, restaurants, shops, and beautiful swimming spots. Hølen, Vestby, and Moss with their shopping centers are also nearby. It takes about an hour by car to reach Sweden.
