We are a family of four who live in an apartment in Vesterbro in Copenhagen, so the summer house is our lovely alternative to city life. We love spending time in the beautiful garden in all seasons, opening the door to the terrace, soaking up the sun, and feeling like the weekend is extended by a hundred hours as we land in the house. The nature in the area is absolutely stunning. We often walk and cycle down the forest trails to Korevlerne and Ellinge Lyng's beautiful, child-friendly beaches and look at the rich plant and animal life. We also enjoy riding along the coast towards Odden, where you can buy delicious fish, hang out at the harbor, eat ice cream and drink coffee at the harbor town's coffee shop.
