Village school from 1777 in West Lolland

This former village school, built in 1777, is the only house on a cul-de-sac in West Lolland, surrounded by fields and woods on all sides and with no neighbours. The original blackboard from the classroom still stands—now as part of the living room—serving as a reminder that the house has brought people together for nearly 250 years.

The 330 m² of living space is spread over two floors and can accommodate eight people. The ground floor features a spacious living room and dining room, as well as a bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Upstairs, fully renovated in 2024, you’ll find three bedrooms, a spacious children’s room, a bathroom, and a separate toilet—for a total of four bedrooms, two bathrooms with both a bathtub and a shower, and three toilets.

The plot measures 3,000 m² and is divided into several natural zones: a fire pit area, a corner for the kids with a trampoline, and an open space for activities that require room. The old horse stable and pigsty are still standing—one houses technical equipment, the other garden tools. There's a new carport with an electric car charger.

Reventlow Park near Pederstrup is just a few minutes away and is open 24 hours a day, year-round. Knuthenborg Safari Park is twenty minutes away. From Kragenæs Harbour, you can take the ferry to the islands of Fejø and Femø, and on a grey day, the Fuglsang Art Museum—featuring Danish art from 1780 onward—is right on the waterfront.
