We are the third generation to live in this house, situated on a large, park-like lot with tall trees. House 1 was built in 1952. The property was expanded with a new house in 1964, designed by the architectural firm Møllen in Espergærde. The two houses have now been joined together and modernized with new windows and doors. There is a large, spacious kitchen with a built-in fireplace and panoramic windows. House 1 has a wood-burning stove and a heat pump. The house has retained the special atmosphere from my childhood, including the view out over the 7,000 m² grounds. We cut down trees and split firewood, and the grandchildren swing on the enormous double swing set or ride the cable car. The large pizza oven from 2022 gets plenty of use. And all summer long, we swim in the crystal-clear water off the pebble-free beach just 400 meters away.
