This is the third generation of our family to live in this house, which was built in 1952. The property was extended with another house in 1964, designed by the architectural firm Møllen. The houses are now joined together and modernized with a large, spacious kitchen with a built-in fireplace. The house has retained the special atmosphere of my childhood. We cut down trees and chop wood, and the grandchildren swing on the huge double swing set or ride the zip line. The large pizza oven is used frequently.
