This is our family's little breathing space. For three generations we have had a summer house here in Saksild Strand, and since we all live in Aarhus, it has become our refuge away from the city. The cottage is the ideal place to get away from everyday life, whether it's just for a short while where we go out here at night and enjoy a good dinner or a walk by the beach with an ice cream in hand from our wonderful ice cream parlor just a 2-minute walk away. However, we can easily spend a week out here in a row even when the weather is dreary. There are many entertainment options nearby in the form of Denmark's oldest miniature golf course, Padel tennis, the local cinema (Biffen Odder), the bowling alley and associated diner in Odder and our favorite bakery GROFT located in Saksild By.
