The area around Sanderstølen offers activities for all seasons. In the immediate vicinity, you will find the area's most popular hike, summer and winter. This is the hike to Nystølvarden. From Nystølvarden, you can see Norefjell in the south, Hallingskarvet and Reineskarvet in the west, and Jotunheimen itself in the north. With a pair of binoculars, you can also see Rondane and Gaustatoppen from here.
