The loft is perfect for older children who want their own space for tablets, computers, or just a quiet moment on the daybed while the rest of the group is downstairs. There’s plenty of space in the house, so even if the Danish summer turns out to be on the wet side, you can still enjoy yourselves both indoors and under the covered areas. There are plenty of board games, puzzles, Yahtzee, and books available for free use.

The garden is densely landscaped, making it nearly impossible to see into the patio, so you can sit outside undisturbed. This ensures peace and quiet on the property, whether there are many of you or just a few.

Odsherred’s natural environment is so worthy of preservation that large parts of it are protected under the Natura 2000 program. A walk from Tengslemark Beach can easily be combined with a visit to Café Haveje on Gudmindrup Beach for burgers and ice cream. The area also features the megalithic tomb at Lumsås and Arne Jacobsen’s smokehouse in Havnebyen. Outside of peak summer, the steady winds of Sejerø Bay are also popular among kiteboarders and windsurfers, who appreciate the bay’s manageable and safe conditions.
