The retro cabin was built in 1967 and features the original kitchen in open connection with the living room. The decor is also original and maintained in honor of the house's history. With the charming tableware, you can set the table for lots of guests and set the scene for indoor fun. The living room has a cozy wood-burning stove, and here you can lie on a lovely daybed with a view of the grounds. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the sunshine and grill the family dinner on the large wooden terrace. Here you can really feel the cottage atmosphere and be warmed by both sun and love.
There's plenty of space in the house for the family of 6, and you can even set up a tent in the garden for overnight guests. The kitchen is small, but here you'll find everything you need to prepare your vacation meals - everything you need for a barbecue can be found on the terrace and is free to use. If you feel like it, you can build a fire in the garden and if you need to get out and about, simply hop on one of the four bikes available.

We are a family of 4 consisting of Lars and Rikke, Marius and Andreas. In 2018 we bought our beautiful cottage. It was originally built in 1967 and there has only been one owner before us. Before we bought the house, we had little knowledge of West Zealand¹, and we were very surprised by the landscape and nature in the area. We use the house as soon as we can, which is why we haven't rented it out before. Now we'd like to share our lovely sanctuary so that others can also enjoy a few days in the great cottage atmosphere and unique nature. The cottage is the perfect retreat for us as a family and here we relax, enjoy nature, cycle in Odsherred's moraine landscape and eat ice cream.
Our favorite areas are definitely the beach and the forest, which are right outside the door and which we use a lot when we're away. In Ordrup there is a small grocery store, a couple of nice places to eat and not least a very popular ice cream dairy, Isøre. Dragsholm Castle has delicious food, an open-air bar and is generally a great place for an excursion. We've also been to Zealand's highest point, Vejrhøj. Both here and Ordrup Næs are really worth a walk. This spring we bought new garden furniture and set up a trampoline🤸
