In the middle of the deep forests of Hälsingland, a unique experience awaits you at your very own lake. Here you can relax in complete seclusion, far from the stress of everyday life and the noise of the city, with only the sounds of nature for company.
The charming cottage is located just three meters from the lake and offers a glassed-in patio and a spacious veranda with a gas grill. The main building has a bedroom with a double bed and a cozy loft with mattresses. For larger groups, there are two separate sleeping cabins with double beds on the property.
After a day of activities, you can enjoy the evening sun from the porch or take a relaxing sauna with a view of the lake. The large plot extends all the way down to the water, where you will find your own jetty. Try simple living with solar panels that provide the cottage with electricity, an outdoor toilet, a gas-powered refrigerator, and there is also a backup generator. The cottage does not have a shower, but you can heat water in the sauna and use the shower inside the sauna if it is cold outside. There is a shower that you fill with water from the sauna heater.

We had a wonderful week in the middle of the Swedish wilderness. The house can be reached after a 10-minute drive along gravel roads, deeper and deeper into the forest. But you are completely alone there and the surroundings are beautiful. Wonderful!
The vacation home is very comfortably furnished and equipped with the essentials. However, you have to be prepared for the fact that there is no running water here. You can filter lake water for drinking, washing up, etc. The toilet is an outhouse. A headlamp for nighttime trips to the toilet is a must-have in your luggage ;)
Electricity is provided by a small solar panel. The battery lasted us even during continuous drizzly weather. However, for energy-intensive appliances such as the coffee machine or the submersible pump for the pool, you will need to switch on a gasoline-powered generator from time to time.
We only used the fireplace for heating and were provided with more than enough firewood. Gas and diesel heating would also have been available.
If you are looking for peace and seclusion and can do without a few luxuries, this is the place for you. It was perfect for us!
