In the past, coffee sacks and spices were stacked up here – today, an airy, 95 m² loft under the wide skies of Öland awaits you. With a ceiling height of five meters to the ridge and large-format historic wooden windows, you immediately feel the freedom and spaciousness of the room. The apartment is structured not by walls, but by handmade fixtures and a clay-plastered fireplace, which harmoniously separate the kitchen, lounge, and sleeping area.

The furnishings are minimalist and high-quality: a Bo Concept sofa and the iconic Lamino armchair invite you to linger, while personal details and the in-house library add character. In the spacious kitchen, foodies can prepare local ingredients from the farm shops in the surrounding area. Meals are served at the Swedish design table or on the sunny south-facing balcony, which offers sweeping views over the village and fields to the sea – perfect for morning coffee or long summer evenings.

You'll find restful sleep in the Hülsta box-spring bed (180 cm), which is gently screened off from the living room by a natural wood shelf. The daylight bathroom with warm terracotta tones is located one floor below in the entrance area. Outside, you will find a secluded garden framed by limestone walls, lilacs, and roses. As the former shop on the ground floor is unused, you can enjoy complete peace and privacy here.

The picturesque Stora Frö is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of South Öland. Only 800 meters separate you from Haga Park beach, a hotspot for surfers with wide bathing jetties. Whether hiking along the cliffs to Mörbylånga, visiting the artists' village of Vickleby with its famous Capellagården, or taking a trip to Borgholm Castle – here you can experience the Mediterranean beauty of Öland in its purest form.
