Split-level holiday home with view of Årø

We had a wonderful time at Mari-Louise’s and felt right at home as a family from the very first moment. The house is beautiful, very high-quality, and furnished with great attention to detail. The minimalist, clean, and design-oriented style really appealed to us—especially since I work as a designer myself, so naturally I felt particularly at home here. Everything feels well-thought-out without ever feeling cold. On top of that, the house was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the beds were fantastic. The view of the sea is simply magnificent. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the small, very beautiful beach, and from there you can enjoy a wonderful stroll right along the water’s edge. From the house, you also have a great view of the island of Årø, which is served by a ferry several times a day. We also really liked the town itself: quiet, friendly, and featuring a small harbor and a few nice restaurants. The region around Haderslev is beautiful and offers many small, very charming towns. Another special highlight for us was the StreetDome—definitely worth a visit for skateboarding enthusiasts. The small garden is beautifully landscaped and invites you to relax. The neighbors were also exceptionally friendly. Mari-Louise welcomed us personally and very warmly and was available at all times throughout our stay. She answered our questions quickly and easily—exactly as a guest would hope. We felt completely at home here and would come back anytime. A beautiful place to stay in a great location—highly recommended!
