Studio in brick house with garden near Arnis

Your retreat awaits you on the east side of a brick house that’s over 100 years old. The romantic entrance with a garden bench and private garden invites you to start your morning with tea or coffee in the sun, surrounded by flowers and lush greenery.

A wooden staircase in the hallway leads you to the studio apartment with its high, airy ceiling. Linen curtains, warm wooden floorboards, and river pebbles in the bathroom create a relaxed atmosphere inspired by the surrounding landscape. The sleeping area is located on the courtyard side in an open-plan nook behind the kitchen and living area.

Through the windows, your gaze wanders all around to the treetops and the garden. You can securely store your bicycles in the barn across the way, where the studios are also located. So you’ll run into us from time to time in the courtyard. Here, you can simply let the day unfold and go with the flow.

A walk across the fields to Arnis or along the Schlei to Kappeln takes 20–30 minutes. In Arnis, the “Schleiperle” right on the water tempts visitors with ice cream or matjes herring sandwiches. Kappeln offers the museum harbor, Scandinavian arts and crafts, and a small movie theater. By bike, you can reach Maasholm or the Stubbe fruit farm.
