Architect-designed cabin on Golsfjellet with views

This architect-designed cabin on Golsfjellet is built for year-round living in the mountains. Large windows bring the outdoors into the living room, and there are ski trails and hiking trails right outside the door. Hemsedal, home to Norway’s best ski resort, is just 30 minutes away.

The cabin's spread over three levels and features an open-plan living room and kitchen, a spacious loft with a projector and screen, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The abundant natural light and the separate areas mean you can read, watch films, or play games at the same time—without disturbing each other. The kitchen's very well-equipped.

Fjellhagen's ablaze with flowers in the summer and blanketed in snow in the winter. The fire pit, grill, and pizza oven from Gozney are perfect for outdoor dining. The separate sauna with mirrored glass heats up in just over an hour.

The cabin sits at the end of a cul-de-sac on Golsfjellet, in a quiet and idyllic setting surrounded by cross-country ski trails and a network of hiking trails. Hemsedal, 30 minutes away, offers downhill skiing, and near the Oset Høyfjellshotell, you'll find canoe rentals and swimming opportunities. The cabin's best suited for adults and families with older children.
