Yellow house by the fjord in idyllic Holmsbu

This yellow house from 1932 by the Drammen Fjord provides a peaceful base in Holmsbu. The house has two bedrooms, an annex with extra beds, and a lush garden with several seating areas where you can follow the sun throughout the day. Down the hill and across the road is your own jetty – perfect for sunbathing and swimming on the small sandy beach with a shallow sandy bottom.

Inside, you will find a modern and well-equipped home. The main house has two bedrooms: one with a 180 cm double bed and one with a 130 cm wide single bed. In the annex, you will find a 140 cm double bed with a 90 cm single bed above it. Previous guests say that nothing is missing.

The garden is a blooming oasis with a gazebo where you can enjoy afternoon tea when the weather is gray. Outdoor toys and games are available for the little ones. From the garden, you have a view of the fjord – peaceful and calming.

Walk 25 minutes to Holmsbu town center, or visit Støa with its gallery, gift shop, and waffles halfway there. In the opposite direction, Holmsbu Spa is ten minutes away. Take a longer trip to Rødtangen and see bronze graves along the way. The excellent grocery store in Holmsbu is open 24 hours a day.
