The North Sea island of Eiderstedt welcomes you with green meadows, endless expanses and coastal air. Your temporary home awaits you in the tranquil village of Tetenbüll, not far from Sankt Peter-Ording. Built on a typical local terp, your vacation home combines modern loft character with relaxing moments in nature.
Your apartment is located in a pastorate dating back to 1780, which houses two other accommodations in addition to yours. renovated in 2018, a modern, bright loft has been created behind the traditional walls. In addition to design classics, the furnishings include pretty unique pieces and rustic elements. White walls, doors and original wooden beams, the poured concrete floor and the high ceilings create an open, feel-good atmosphere.
The entrance area with blue Moroccan tiles, which awaits you behind the beautiful arched front door, is already spacious. To the left of the hallway is the aesthetically designed bathroom with bathtub, the separate toilet and your personal wellness oasis: a sauna. Adjacent you will find the two bedrooms, also in white, each with a double bed.
The loft-like living and dining area is definitely the highlight of the apartment. The successful mix of minimalist kitchenette, a charming kitchen island consisting of an old wooden chest of drawers, the long dining table with chandelier above and the large lounge sofa offer you the perfect environment for games evenings, cooking together and relaxing with a view of the wonderful garden. This is laid out like a park, has its own pond and offers you a view of the village church of St. Anna. Here you have your very own natural paradise right on your doorstep.
Important note: We love thatched-roof vacation homes - when dealing with fire and electricity, we ask guests to ensure that the thatched roof is not exposed to any risk of fire. You will receive more detailed instructions from your host.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Highlights from Christoph
Host since July 2023
- The apartment combines individual loft character and the tranquillity of nature in its most beautiful form
- The park-like, spacious garden with pond and large trees offers plenty of places to recharge your batteries
- The interplay of old unique pieces, preserved elements such as the wooden benches and modern furniture creates a special flair
As a large Viennese family, we fell madly in love with the North Sea during our time in Hamburg. By a lucky coincidence, we were able to acquire the former pastorate, one of the most beautiful houses on the Eiderstedt peninsula, in 2017 and save the listed building from decay. In this way, we have created a permanent anchor in the north. In 2018, we painstakingly and carefully renovated our old Frisian longhouse under the expert supervision of the conservation authorities and created three vacation apartments. We have turned the house into a private retreat on the North Sea, incorporating the highest quality and many personal details so that our guests feel as comfortable here as we do.
