As someone working the the vactionion rental industry, I've seen my fair share of holiday homes. Our stay at Martin and Andrew’s house absolutely lived up to every single image of the listing on Landfolk—if anything, it was even better in person. You can really feel the love and dedication that went into the restoration eight years ago; they have perfectly balanced an industrial aesthetic with a deeply cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home instantly.
The attention to detail in the amenities is fantastic. For audiophiles and cinephiles, the tube amplifier for streaming music and the projector for movie nights were absolute highlights. The kitchen setup is equally thoughtful—whether you’re a coffee aficionado choosing between espresso and pour-over, or a tea lover enjoying the beautiful electric kettle and glass teapot, you are well taken care of.
The architecture itself is a joy to experience. The large new windows throughout the house open up to let the outside in, and the master bedroom is a dream with its skylights and that wonderful round opening window. The abundance of gorgeous large plants fills the space with life and really completes the cozy atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind.
