Architect's house with two flats directly on the high bank of the Eider River

Inspired by the architecture of the American 70s, the house of Mathias and Thomas has been built on the high bank of the Eider River. It contains two apartments, which have been individually designed and decorated by Mathias. The first floor is entirely paneled in oak and complemented in parts with local Jura natural stone. It has an open kitchen with living and dining area, a bathroom with elegant bathtub and a bedroom with a 160 cm x 200 cm double bed. Thanks to the large panoramic windows, exciting views over the river landscape can be enjoyed from every room.

On the garden floor, the walls are bathed in a cozy gray-green to match the hillside location. Large sliding windows also provide a wide view of nature in this apartment. The garden floor houses a 160 cm x 200 cm double bed in the bedroom and a 120 cm x 190 cm sofa bed in the living area. A highlight is the round dining table made of rosewood together with chairs with original upholstery from the 60s.

On the ground floor as well as on the garden floor you will find a large terrace, which invites you to long summer evenings in convivial company.

For sporting activities, in addition to the large garden, you can also use the bathing area, which is only 200 m away. Here you can not only dive into the cool water with friends or family, but also enjoy all kinds of water sports such as surfing, canoeing, stand-up paddling and water skiing. The wide beaches of St. Peter Ording are also less than an hour's drive away and are perfect for extended summer vacations.
