Inside, every room has been carefully selected and furnished, and the fireplace makes the cottage usable year-round. The garden is designed as an extension of the house, featuring a patio, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and outdoor shower. The beach path to Hyllingebjerg runs along Topvej and Haldsvej to the stairs leading down to the sandy shore.

The town of Liseleje is within walking distance, with cafés, restaurants, shops, and a flea market. In the summer, a fish truck stops by the supermarket every Saturday. Kikhavn, with its thatched-roof houses from the 1700s, is 5 km away, and Hundested offers a harbor, galleries, and a sand sculpture festival.
