Our names are Trine and Michael and we are a family of four. We bought our lovely holiday home a few years ago when we outgrew our allotment on Amager and needed more space and the beach nearby. As Trine's family has had a summer cottage in Ellinge Lyng since 1916, we knew the area. When we're here, in addition to the beach, we love building bonfires, playing outdoor table tennis, jumping on the trampoline and having the house full of guests. We also often take walks in the area and shop at Oddens Fisk and the farm shop Birkemosegård on Sjællands Odde.

The cottage is super cozy and exactly as you would imagine a classic old cottage to be. The entire interior is carefully selected in retro style. The kitchen is very cozy and has a lovely large window facing the garden. There are plenty of great things for children to do with a trampoline, swing, fire pit and shelter. Everything is in good condition but with a charming patina. The beach is super beautiful and is only a 15-minute walk from the house, where you walk through the cozy cottage area.
