We are Malu and Andreas, and our two boys, Bjørn and Falke. We bought the cottage when we became parents for the first time and wanted a sanctuary in nature for our children. The house is originally from the 70s, but in 2020 we renovated it with the help of an architect, a local carpentry company and Andreas' father.
We love spending time in the garden, where the kids swing and jump on the trampoline, eat berries and apples from our own bushes and trees. We often go to the beach, regardless of the season, where we swim in the summer and collect stones and shells in the winter.
If we're going on a longer trip, we drive to Røsnæs harbor, where there is a fantastic harbor bath with sauna, changing rooms and ice cream kiosk.
In Kalundborg town we use the harbor park where you can get a good cup of coffee at Costa Kaffe or have lunch at Asgers Fisk, where the favorites are fish 'n' chips and smoked salmon with potato salad.
