Traditional log cabin at Vierli

Welcome to Vierli, home to this charming log cabin built in 1962 and upgraded in 2024. The cabin is beautifully located with stunning views of Raulandsfjell and Hardangervidda. The place provides a true mountain experience with a unique atmosphere.

Inside the cabin you'll find a large fireplace that dominates the living room, along with a kitchen, kitchen island and dining table in the same room. There's also a wood-burning stove that adds to the warmth along with electric heaters.

The furnishings are simple and cozy, but there are plenty of facilities for enjoying good food. For example, the cabin has a raclette grill and a large iron pot for slow cooking while you're out and about.

The plot is sunny all day and offers panoramic views in all directions. Enjoy the west-facing location with views of Rauland, Silkedalen and Killingnuten. The cabin was upgraded in the fall of 2024 and has a bathroom with underfloor heating, shower and toilet, as well as water in the kitchen.

The area offers fantastic activities all year round. In the summer, you can hike to Falkeriset, Tehytta and Dansarstein. In winter, you can enjoy some of Norway's most beautiful cross-country trails in Silkedalen or visit Rauland Ski Center for alpine skiing. There are also excellent opportunities for hiking, for example on Bosnuten and Gaustadtoppen.
