Det Bette Egern, as the 1978 cottage in Mols Bjerge has been named, is surrounded by wild nature with high ceilings. As you enter the house, you'll sense the earthy colors and natural materials that the 70s were known for, and the finest flea market finds have been handpicked to complete the zeitgeist.
Relax in the architect-designed Bernt Petersen rag chairs and enjoy the view of the tall trees in the garden while sipping a hot cup of coffee or tea from a fine recycled cup from the kitchen. Around the dining table, settle in at the dining bench and listen to the crackling of the wood-burning stove as you enjoy your lovely cottage meals.
Mols Bjerge is known for its untouched nature, and Det Bette Egern's garden and surroundings are no exception, where pine, beech and moss live side by side. Be sure to bring good footwear so you can wander around the area and experience the unique landscape.

Surround yourself with handpicked flea market finds and recycled materials
We are Lea and Ramus and we are the happy owners of Det Bette Egern, which is our own little gem, originally from 1978. We normally live in Copenhagen, but both have solid roots in Jutland. We love nature and the breathing space that our holiday home offers us. We are passionate about renovating our cottage with recycling and respect for its time, and at the same time we are big DIY enthusiasts, which gives the house a unique touch.
We love to visit Stubbe Lake, Ree Park, the eco village Friland and the restaurant Moment, and of course go for walks on the many routes around the cottage. Ebeltoft is also a lovely town to visit with its charm and cobbled streets.
