What was once used as a large farmhouse is now an incomparable vacation home in a secluded location in the middle of a 10,000 m² private park. The old thatched-roof house impresses with its spacious rooms and high-quality furnishings. Only the preserved ceiling beams and the partly antique details still provide information about the history of the building.
The large living area can be used in a variety of ways for relaxing or working together. With over 150 square meters of space, it houses two cosy sofa corners, a fireplace with a library, as well as a work and dining area with access to the south-facing terrace. A fully equipped country-style kitchen also offers everything you need for a cozy evening of cooking with company. The focal point of the room is the large dining table, which seats up to 12 people.
The house offers a total of 6 rooms with various sleeping options. Two of them are located on the first floor with access to the bathroom and the sun terrace. There is a third bedroom adjacent to the garden. When you open the windows in the morning, you immediately imagine yourself in the middle of a forest - the presence of deer, the tapping of a woodpecker or even a visit to the horses in the adjacent paddock will immerse you completely in nature. Two further spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a bright gallery with another double bed await you on the upper floor.
The area around Wingst offers countless opportunities for recreation seekers, sports enthusiasts and adventurers. Horse riding, tennis, hiking, water skiing and cycling are just some of the many activities you can enjoy here. We are Sophie-Louise and Marie-Claire, two sisters who grew up together in this house. Both the house and the area are beautiful and are associated with many great memories. As children, we used to go horse riding in the area, water skiing in Neuhaus and swimming on the beautiful Elbe beach in Otterndorf. After renovating the house, we decided to share this place with other people so that they can create memories there just like we did.
