Our little family consists of Ulrik and Charlotte and our two boys. A little four-leaf clover that loves weekends and vacations and spending time together in Hornbæk. For us, it's a sanctuary, a refuge where we enjoy the forest and the proximity to the sea. The house is decorated with heart and we think it's a very personal house. Art and furniture with history mean something to us. It's bright and warm, attention to detail and lots of history - that's one of the things we love the most.
Hornbæk is not big, but it has plenty to offer. We love swimming all year round, going on bike rides and the closeness that the setting creates around us. We like to walk or cycle through the plantation and take a break at our favorite café, Albi's, or at Hornbækhus. We also visit the fishmonger and the playground at the harbor. Then we head home along the waterfront. Tegner's fantastic museum is also a favorite, and we enjoy Elsinore, where the Kulturværftet, the M/S museum, Kronborg and the old streets are popular excursion destinations.
