Welcome to a unique and spacious family cabin in the mountains! The cabin is designed for wonderful experiences and long days in nature, with an interior that combines warmth, quality, and timeless design. Thoughtful details, carefully selected furniture, and natural materials create a cozy and harmonious atmosphere. All beds and closet solutions are custom-made and handcrafted by a local cabinetmaker, giving the cabin a unique character and a sense of genuine craftsmanship.
With views of the mountains, the ski lift, and an idyllic fishing lake, this cabin is equally perfect for summer and winter. The terrace catches the morning sun starting at 7 a.m. in the middle of summer, and indoors, a fireplace and sauna await when the day is over.
Four bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms, a separate laundry room, and a spacious kitchen make it easy to accommodate a large group. The loft living room features a large sofa, TV, and double bed, providing extra space to spread out. The dining table seats twelve, and the kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare hearty meals.
Right outside, about 200 meters from the cabin, is a recreation area with a sandy beach, a swimming area, two barbecue huts, playground equipment, and a beach volleyball court. The cabin is located right next to Hardangervidda National Park, with marked hiking trails, fishing lakes, and bike paths available in the summer.
In winter, it’s a short distance to the Haukelifjell Ski Center, which features 16 downhill runs and over 70 km of groomed cross-country trails, some of which are lit for evening skiing. About a 10-minute drive away is Haukeliseter Mountain Lodge, where you can enjoy good food and take advantage of canoeing, kayaking, an outdoor hot tub, and kiting.

My name is Ann Helen, and together with my husband Andreas and our four children, we own this cabin in the mountains. Here we find both peace and renewed energy—whether our days are filled with hikes, bike rides, or ski trips, or with long meals, cozy evenings by the fireplace, and views of the mountains. We love the fresh mountain air, the changing seasons, and being close to nature, and we hope the cabin will give you the same sense of peace, connection, and wonderful experiences that it gives us.
