This newly renovated cottage in Binnerbäck on northern Öland is just as well-suited for relaxing in the garden as it is for excursions to the island’s attractions. The renovation was carried out with care, and the result is a bright and modern home with a private atmosphere that lasts throughout your stay. Guests have the large house entirely to themselves, but during weeks 28 through 31, the homeowners stay in a smaller cottage on the adjacent property. This provides extra peace of mind, as the hosts are close by should any questions arise during your stay.

Inside, the style is open and bright. The living room has large windows that let in plenty of natural light, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Three bedrooms provide plenty of space for the group, and with a total of three air conditioning units installed—one in the living room, one in the master bedroom, and one in the bedroom with the two bunk beds—the indoor climate remains cool and comfortable even on the hottest summer days.

The patio is large and features a glassed-in section, an outdoor kitchen, and a hot tub, plus plenty of seating areas for different times of the day. The garden is lush and spacious, with room for play and games, while also offering a secluded and peaceful atmosphere.

Northern Öland offers a wide range of excursions: Byrums Raukar, Trollskogen, Neptuni’s Fields, and Böda Sand are all worth a visit, and in Byxelkrok there’s a charming harbor with cafés and restaurants. From there, you can take a boat to Blå Jungfrun.
