Our names are Ulrikke and Gustav and we have owned this beautiful cottage for over 20 years. Back then, we bought a disused farmhouse, which we were given permission to demolish and rebuild in 2011 with attention to all the details of the original main house. With the help of an architect, we designed a house with a thatched roof and mullioned windows that fulfills all our wishes for a lovely, spacious and bright cottage. We love the location in the protected area overlooking the Baltic Sea.
When we're here, we like to go for walks and swim at the beach and also enjoy the great cycling routes right outside the door. In the spring when the larches are singing, it's great to walk along the newly sown fields. During the summer season, we like to drive to the campsite just north of the cottage and buy freshly baked bread. If we feel like eating out, we like to go to a café at Hesnæs Harbor or visit restaurant Pomlenakke, which is located in the middle of the beech forest and has the most beautiful sea views.
