Here you can enjoy spectacular sunsets over the water and starry skies in an open landscape without light pollution. The location is ideal for nature and wildlife enthusiasts, with everything from sea eagles to red squirrels regularly visiting the garden.

Inside you'll find a tastefully decorated, cozy and well-equipped home with space to cook together in the kitchen and relax with drinks in front of the wood-burning fireplace. From the living room, kitchen and bedrooms there are stunning views and from the alcove, which is often the best spot in the house with its unique indoor/outdoor vibe.

Outside, the garden is divided into several zones, including a former vegetable garden that has been transformed into a biodiversity playground, an orchard with 13 different trees and a manicured lawn for ball games. There is also a raised area in the garden that provides a wide view where the waters of Isefjord and Hesselø Bay meet.

The area offers many activities, from scenic walks along the water such as Ejby Ådal and the Viking burial mounds around the cottage, to cycling on route 30, hiking in Ryegaard Dyrehave or swimming in one of the nearby harbors or child-friendly beaches. Visit Selsø Castle or take a culinary trip to Orø. Local delicacies can be enjoyed at Butik & Cafe Dejlighed, Eudaimonia Kaffe & Keramik and Høkkeren, or you can try your hand at it yourself.
