The very cuddly and old (born 2008) cat "Peaches" enjoys her retirement on the property. She is very used to people and dogs. There is an automatic cat feeder that dispenses food at 7am, 1pm and 6pm every day. So there's no need to feed Peaches. She just needs to be put out at night.
