Whiff of history in a modern house by nature

In a small village in southern Zealand lies a half-timbered house with a lot of soul. The house, which is an old farm worker's house, is more than 200 years old. When you arrive at the house, it's like stepping into a time warp, but as soon as you enter, you'll see that the interior has been modernized. However, the original atmosphere has been beautifully preserved. Even though the house is wrapped in a historic setting, there is hot water, a shower and good insulation.

The house is easy to use and invites you to play, as there are underfloor heating tiles in the hallway, kitchen and living room. That way, in the summer, the kids can run in and out of the house without having to worry about looking after the floor. You can also bring small children with you without having to worry, as there are safety gates both below and above the stairs. The square footage is well utilized, making the house feel bigger than it is. The first floor is a good example, with two cozy bedrooms and a small desk with space to draw or write down holiday memories. The kitchen in the house is well-equipped, so if you like to cook, there are plenty of opportunities to do so. It's easy to get into the idyllic mood while you're stirring a pot on the stove and the light falls in through the slatted windows. You'll also find a nice outdoor kitchen and barbecue where you can cook while the kids play in the garden.

The house is located in quiet and natural surroundings. The garden is a cozy enclosure with views of open fields. The area is ideal for walking and cycling. On a hot summer day, you can take a cool walk of about 5 km through the forest to Petersværft. You can also take a trip to Møn, where Stege is a recommendable town in the summer with its rich commercial life, restaurants and market on Tuesdays. If you want to go to the beach, Ore Strand is an obvious choice, but there are also many good beaches on Møn or Kalvehave.
