You will be staying in the attic of a historic thatched cottage on a 6-hectare property at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. The spacious apartment can accommodate up to four people and your dog is also welcome. The sea is within walking distance – on some days you can hear the surf.
The apartment combines historic charm with Nordic design. Two bedrooms each offer space for two people. The open-plan living area with kitchen invites you to cook and relax together. Antique flea market finds meet modern Scandinavian furniture.
The farm is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. The 6-hectare property is rounded off around the farm. This gives you absolute peace and quiet. The sea is within walking distance and on some days you can hear the surf. The property has mature trees with plenty of seating. Guests can enjoy orchards, sunbathing lawns with ponds and a jetty, an outdoor sauna, an archery target, a barbecue area, a campfire site, a vegetable garden, and flower and herb meadows.
The house has historical details, such as the old fireplace hall with its brick floor. Some apartments have alcove beds. We have combined the historical elements with antique flea market finds and modern Nordic furniture.
The beach is within walking distance, as is the cliffs in Habernis. There is a bathing jetty in the neighboring village. Discover Flensburg with the Rote Straße and the Oluf-Samson-Gang. The Habernisser Moor with boardwalks and artesian springs invites you to take a stroll. Denmark is right on your doorstep.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Highlights from Martina & Christian
Host since February 2026
- Explore the 6-hectare estate with outdoor sauna, archery range, and ponds.
- Take a walk to the beach or the cliffs in Habernis
- Discover the old town of Flensburg and the nearby Danish border
We are Christian and Martina and have been living in Habernis since 2012. As special education teachers, we took over this country house in 2023 and renovated it with a lot of love. We live in the thatched-roof house ourselves and look forward to getting to know you personally. I am happy to offer yoga classes or we can show you how to shoot a bow and arrow.
