The whole day can also be spent in the garden. You can sit on the terrace for afternoon coffee and cake, or you can sit in the chairs on the grass and gaze out over the water. On hot days, you can lie in the hammock in the shade or watch the cows before firing up the barbecue. Our names are Bodil and Christian and we belong to the German minority in Denmark. We have been farming on the Løjt peninsula for 30 years. Together with our daughter Marlene, we look forward to welcoming you to our country house Marielund. We love the silence and idyll here and the unique location with direct access to the beach. Marielund is surrounded by a large garden, meadows and fields and the calmness falls over everyone as soon as you enter the property. We love being here ourselves, even though our farm is just a few fields down the road.
