Hand-crafted cabin with sod roof and terrace

This hand-built cabin from 2019 is located 785 meters above sea level. It has a turf roof and large windows that let in plenty of light. The wood-burning stove is centrally located and heats the entire room, visible from the living room, kitchen, and loft. The 130 m² terrace surrounds the cabin on all sides and is on the same level as the living room floor.

The cabin has an open floor plan where the living room, kitchen, and loft flow naturally into each other. The interior is characterized by visible pine timber, which gives the room character and atmosphere. The wood-burning stove serves as a natural gathering place when you come in from trips in the mountains.

You will be staying at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small cabin area, surrounded by open nature and uninterrupted views. The terrace serves as an extension of the living room, with three exit doors that create a good flow between inside and outside. Here you can enjoy the sun throughout the day.

Large birds, squirrels, hares, moose, and deer roam the area all year round. In summer and autumn, you will find cloudberries, blueberries, raspberries, and lingonberries within walking distance. Raudsinutan (1067 m above sea level) is a day trip away, and Nutheim guesthouse with its café, art gallery, and garden is well worth a visit.
